I was very underwhelmed by this months box, compared to the previous boxes over the past 4 months. I think it’s because one of the items has quite a hefty price tag, so they just added a few mini extras, meaning the products weren’t up to the usual standards. A lot of the products were hair care and skincare related which I think is to help restore our hair and skin after Decembers festivities, ready for the new year.
This Deluxe Hyaluronic Acid Vivfying Face and Eye Night Cream, retails for a whopping £98, so is certainly a luxury treat in this months box. I don’t think I will be repurchasing this due to the price tag for only a 50ml tub, but I can’t wait to try this luxurious moisturiser. It claims to deeply hydrate, rejuvenate tired eyes, get rid of any signs of anti ageing by minimising fine lines and pores, and even out your skin tone. Lets hope it lives up to my expectations.
A deluxe mini of the new Batiste Rethink Dry Shampoo. I can’t be without dry shampoo for those hair washing days, so this mini is perfect to stick in my handbag, or to take away with me. This new dry shampoo is infused with keratin, coconut and avocado, to strengthen, smooth and repair damaged and dry hair. The spray also claims to be invisible and lightweight, so you won’t be left with those pesky white/grey clumps in your hair and that awful chalky feeling other dry shampoos usually leave.
I have never tried a blending sponge quite like this, so I am intrigued to how this is gonna perform. It claims to leave an even coverage and smooth finish, with a straightforward circling motion. It can be used to apply your foundation or concealer, due to it’s precise tip.
Hask Repairing Deep Conditioning Treatment
There was 4 different hair masks on offer and I received the one infused with Kalahair Melon oil. It is catered to colour treated hair, which I certainly need as I dye my hair frequently so I need to protect it from damage. This hair mask claims to repair, smooth and strengthen the hair by infusing the hair cuticles. You just have to massage a generous amount into the hair, leave it to settle for around 10 minutes to do its magic and then rinse it out. I am excited to have luscious locks.
A gentle foam gel cleanser that exfoliates the skin and removes your makeup with ease, yessss please! I love trying out new cleansers, as I use them on a daily basis so I need something that is gonna do the job and works wonder to my skin at the same time. Formulated with minerals from the Dead Sea, rare plant extracts and vitamins, not only does this cleanser claim to work well, but it also good for you with it’s natural ingredients.
