Festive Makeup Look

I have been loving a slight shimmer on the eyes and a red lip this festive season. I thought I would share with you the look, as it has been my go to recently and all I have been wearing.

I start off my base by priming my face using the ThisWorks In Transit Camera Close Up, to moisturise and hydrate my skin. I then go in with my foundation, which I decided to use the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in 100 Ivory. I then primed my eyelids, using the Urban Decay Primer Potion, before going in with the Champagne BellaPierre Cosmetics Shimmer Roll. This adds a gorgeous shimmery rose gold to the lids. I then apply a few coats of mascara to both my top and bottoms lashes, using the Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara in Black. This has become my new favourite mascara, as it adds so much volume and length to my lashes. Next I fill in my brows using the Revolution Pro Brow Pomade in Chocolate, to shape and define them.

Then I conceal my under eyes, around my nose, down the bridge of my nose and my chin, using the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Extra Fair. If you know me, you will know that I can’t live without this product. It’s amazing!!! I then set this in place using the Luna by Luna Cosmetics Loose Translucent Setting Powder. This stuff works wonders and I am so glad I received this in last months Glossybox. I then contour/bronze using the Ted Baker Bronze and Blush Set. Then I apply highlighter to my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, cupids bow and my brow bone, using the MUA Strobe and Glow Highlighting Kit, using the Pearl Gold powder highlight.

Finally I primed my lips using Vaseline, as I tend to get really dry lips and I can’t go a day without applying this copious amounts. Once it has soaked in and isn’t so tacky on the lips, I began to apply the Doucce Matte Lip Crayon. It’s a gorgeous dark berry red!

So there you have it, my go to makeup look this season.

What has been your go to makeup look recently? Have you been loving a red lip?

Thanks for reading!
