I know it seems like I probably say this at the start of every favourites post, but these months are flying by and I can’t believe 2018 is coming to an end. I am so excited for Christmas to begin and I am already in the festive mood, especially thanks to Jessie J’s Christmas album, fyi ITS AMAZING!! Another month down means its time to round all the things I was loving in October.
I love Garniers Micellar water so I knew I had to try their Cleansing milk to see how it compared. I have been loving this to use a second cleanser when I am double cleansing. It works great in removing any excess makeup left on the skin and is so gentle on my sensitive skin. I love the packaging of this and the pink links well with the scent of Rose Water. It also smells so amazing and leaves my skin looking and feeling refreshed, as well as smelling great!
A mask, moisturiser and primer in one is every lazy girls dream. I love a product that has more than one benefit and this one from This Works is great. I apply this before doing my makeup on the morning and it acts as a great base. It’s quick a thick consistency, which is great as my skin has been so dry lately due to the change in weather and from having a cold, so I have needed that extra bit of moisturise in my skin. It doesn’t take a while to soak in which means I don’t have to wait to slap on my foundation. I also love the smell of this, as it has the same lavender scent as they do with their sleep care range.
MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Cocktail Kiss
Unfortunately I can’t find the link to this lipstick as it was from a gift set from their Christmas range last year. However, it’s such a shame as it’s such a gorgeous shade and so similar to Twig which is my all time fave MAC lipstick. It’s a beaut dark pinky brown shade. I love it!
I have been in desperate need of a new powder as I have been running out of all mine, so when I received this in last months Glossybox I was so pleased and couldn’t wait to try it. I have never tried a loose setting powder, so this is the first in my collection, however I think I may have been converted as I love this. I bake this underneath my eyes, down my t-zone, on my chin and around my nose and oh my does it make such a difference. It mattifies my makeup so well, making it last all day, especially in those areas where I am most oily. I love love love this product.
I think this may just be my favourite ever mascara. I very kindly received a mini size of this from the Glamour Beauty Club at the end of September and have been obsessed with it ever since. It adds so much volume to my lashes and makes such a major difference to them. I go from non existent flat lashes, to the curliest, longest and voluminous lashes you ever did see with this mascara. I need to get my hands on the full size, I just wish it wasn’t £26, my bank is gonna be crying when I buy this.
Here is a makeup look using the Givenchy Mascara, the Luna by Luna translucent setting power and the MAC lipstick.
