As it’s Spooky season, this months Glossybox was Halloween inspired. This meant you either received a Treat box or a Trick box. I ended up receiving the treat box which contained 5 amazing products, mainly makeup inspired. I believe this is probably so people could use these products to create Halloween Makeup looks.
The showstopper of this months Glossybox had to be this lipstick from Illamasqua. I have never tried anything from Illamasqua before, so I was so excited when I knew this was gonna bee in Octobers box. It’s an antimatter,so has a semi-matte formula which means it’s moderately long lasting with a comfortable creamy formula. The shade Nebula is a bright and vibrant pink, great for the Halloween season. I can’t wait to try it out!
A mask, moisturiser and primer in one, this product creates the perfect base for your makeup. It claims to hydrate the skin with it’s revitalising formula, erase any signs of fatigue and prep your skin ready for the day, as well as for photo ready makeup. I am so ready to put this deluxe mini to the test.
Fun fact, I have never tried a loose power before, so I have high expectations for this product. I also had never heard of Luna by Luna before until now, so I was intrigued by this brand and this also raised them even more. This translucent setting powder claims to have a light formula that sets your makeup into place without creasing into fine lines and leaving your face looking smooth and not cakey. I have oily skin, so I will be sure baking this underneath my eyes and around my t-zone, to keep any excess oil at bay.
A powder and cream highlighter in one compact kit, with a mirror and a £5 price tag, this product had me sold straight away. No matter the season, I want to be glowing and my highlighter needs to be blinding. This gorgeous Pearl Gold shade, is just what I needed in my collection.
An Autumnal eyeshadow palette filled with grungey, smokey and autumn hues to get you in the mood for those darker nights. This palette has every colour you can need and more to transition from Summer to Autumn to Winter and to Spring. I love that it has a balance of both Mattes and Shimmers. I can’t wait to experiment with some looks with this palette, and see how the colours pay off.
Another exciting box this month, I am so excited to test all these products. I will be for sure doing a review on the eyeshadow palette.
