For my birthday Ben bought me a 6 month subscription from Glossybox. His reason being obviously the fact I love beauty and makeup, but also for “reviewing purposes on my blog”. I literally melted when he said that, bless him. I have never had a beauty subscription before, so I was super excited when my first one arrived the other day. I couldn’t wait to see what was inside and begin to use the products.
This months was the Back to School Edition, so included essentials to pop into your handbag or to get you prepped and ready for those first day blues.
The mask is a charcoal face mask that bubbles on the skin, which you then message into your face to clean it and get rid of any dirt, impurities or blackheads. It is BeautyPros award winning sheet mask, so it definitely must work very well. I can’t wait to put it to the test, to see if it’s claims are true!
I love a good eyebrow pomade and this one from Bang Beauty sounds great, I am so excited to try it. It claims it has a velvety formula that applies effortlessly to create powerful eyebrows! It comes with an angled eye brush, however I will probably just use my own as it’s too small for me.
Antibacterical hand and body wipes to pop into your hand bag to freshen up on the go are essential!! There is nothing worse than having sticky hands when out and about and not having anything to help you clean them. These will be coming everywhere with me, as they are such a necessity. I can’t wait to try them!
I love using products to help with my hair, especially as it goes through a lot on a daily basis. This Scalp Detox is said to remove impurities that block your roots in order to leave your hair feeling healthy and to grow. It’s also vegan and cruelty free, which is fab!!
This body mist from Wild Garden has notes of pear, water lily and warm amber to leave you smelling like a flower. It has quite a strong scent, so I can’t wait to see if it is long lasting and if I can still smell it on me by the end of the day.
The Karl Lagerfield X Model Co lip liner claims to have a creamy formula to leave your lips looking more defined, in order to enhance your pout. I love how the shade name is Rosewood as it reminds me so much of PLL. It’s a gorgeous purple/pink and looks so nice on.
I was so impressed with the range of products from haircare to beauty inside the box. 5 out of the 6 being full sized as well. They came to a grand total of £70.16 which is so good, considering it’s £10 a box. I am so pleased with my first ever Glossybox and I can’t wait to start using the products and see what the next 5 months brings.
Have you ever tried Glossybox or Do you have a monthly beauty box subscription?
