Mac is one of my favourite high end brands and I have accumulated a lot of their products over the years, from their famous lipsticks to base products. I thought it was about time for me to share my current collection.
MAC Studio Fix Foundation in NW13
This foundation is one of my all favourites, it provides a flawless full coverage, is the perfect match for my pale skin, has great lasting power and is worth ever penny. It’s cheap on the scale of high end foundations, retailing at £24.50 compared to others that are usually over £30. It blurs any imperfections and leaves my base looking flawless. I love it!
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium
This powder was one of my first ever products from MAC, and I have been using it every single day since, that it’s almost all gone 3 years later. I have the shade medium so it adds some colour to your face when you use it. It is really mattifying and keeps my oily t-zone at bay, for the majority of the day.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle
I love love this highlighter and without a doubt you will have heard every beauty blogger, guru or youtuber raving about it. It’s a peachy bronze shade, which is perfect in the summer time and leaves me looking like a bronzed goddess. It’s super pigmented and leaves a blinding highlight with just one swipe. I can’t get enough of this product!!
MAC Powder Blush in Melba
Melba is a coral peach shade that provides a matte finish. It looks gorgeous on and gives a flushed look to the face. It’s super pigmented, so you have to be light handed when applying, so you don’t look silly with bright pink cheeks.
MAC Snowball Palette
I received this palette from the Snowball Collection for Christmas, look how gorgeous it looks. I was so excited to try it, due to how gorgeous the shades look, but I was left a little disappointed when I did. Check out my review here to see why.
L to R- Satin Taupe, Sumptuous Olive, Honey Lust, Scene
Satin Taupe is a dark taupe shade with a silver shimmer that has a frost finish, it’s super pigmented and look gorgeous on the lid. Sumptuous Olive is a khaki green shade with a pearl shimmer and veluxe pearl finish, this is perfect if you are feeling adventurous and is super pretty all over the eyes. Honey lust is a bronze shimmer shade with a lustre finish, it’s not as pigmented as the others but it looks so beaut on the lid paired with a dark crease. Finally, Scene is a blue grey shade with a satin finish, it’s matte compared to the rest as it contains shimmer and is a great to use in the crease.
My MAC lipstick collection has certainly grown since I first wrote my MAC lipstick collection post. I now have a total of 10 lipsticks which may not seem a lot to some people, but it’s quite big for a student. I love every single shade I own and they have all been worn to death over the years. My favourites have to be Twig, which is a gorgeous muted brown/pink shade, Pretty Irresistible which is a vibrant red shade and Velvet Teddy which is a nude shade.
L to R- Twig, Velvet Teddy, Mehr, Sending Love
L to R- Pretty Irresistible, Dancing Flowers, Diva
L to R- Cocktail Kiss, Boca, Kinda Sexy
Liquid Lipsticks, Lip liners, Lip Glosses
Top to Bottom- Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in Oh, Lady, Lipglass in Iced Dream, Lipglass in A Favourite Flame, Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Double Time, Lip Pencil in Beet
I have a few lip glosses, lip liners and a liquid lipstick in my collection from gift sets I have received for Christmas. Oh, Lady is a deep wine shade with a matte finish of course, it isn’t really drying on the lips, lasts forever which means it’s a pain to remove and can stain the lips, but I guess that means it is truly matte. Iced Dream is from the Snowball collection, so unfortunately is no longer available. It’s a transparent pink shimmer lip gloss, which is great for using over the top of lipsticks to add a glossy/sparkly finish. A Favourite Flame is no longer available either, as it was part of a gift set 2 years ago. It’s a vibrant red shade, which looks great over the top of a red lipstick to add a glossy finish, or on it’s own. Double Time was also part of the Snowball collection so is no longer available. It’s a beaut nude/pink shade that pairs perfect with Sending Love. It has a super creamy formula and doesn’t at all feel drying. Beet is vivid pink red shade that pairs perfectly with Pretty Irresistible. Check out this post here, to see how well they work together.
So there you have it my current MAC collection, I am sure this will forever grow as my love for MAC products continues to grow.
