Is it just me or is this year going way too fast? I can’t believe that I finished my first year of University this month. It has been such a whirlwind, but certainly the best decision I have ever made. I have loved meeting new people, living in a new city and experiencing living on my own. If you would like a post on my uni experience then let me know. I have accumulated a few favourites in May from Beauty to Hair-care!
If you haven’t heard of this cleanser then where have you been? I first found out about this from Anna Saccone and not long after so many other Blogger and Youtubers were trying it out. I got my hands on the mini version first and as I loved it that much my boyfriend bought me the full size for Christmas. Setting you back at £49 each time it’s on the pricey side, however it’s well worth it. I have been using it ever since, but especially throughout this month. It removes my makeup like no other product and doesn’t take any effort at all. I am blown away by this and as you can tell I still have so much product left after using it for 5 months, as a little goes a really long way. I have well and truly loved it and I have to say this has took it’s place as my favourite ever cleanser!
If you have seen my latest haul post you will know that I recently purchased this after my friend Emily was raving about it. This product has really stepped up my eyebrow game this month and I am truly obsessed. I love getting my eyebrows done but this product means I can do them my self at home for a fraction of the price. I have been non stop using this since I purchased it and I will definitely be re-purchasing this in the near future. Stay tuned for a full review coming very soon!!
If you know me, then you will know that the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is one of my ride or die concealers. So when they released Extra Fair for us pale girls, I had to put it to the test to see if it was truly pale enough. I have been using it nearly every single day this month and I am loving it! Just like the other concealers it has a creamy formula, doesn’t crease and lasts all day without fading away. As for the shade comparison, it does seem paler compared to fair but there isn’t a major difference.
I love a good MAC lipstick and I have so many different shades in my collection from Reds and Purples to Pinks and Nudes. Throughout May I have been loving Mehr, which is a gorgeous pink shade. It is a matte formula, so it stays all my lips all day without needing to re-apply, doesn’t smudge or bleed and isn’t drying like some matte lipsticks. It is certainly one of my favourite MAC lipsticks!
I recently dyed my hair blonder again on the ends, so to maintain the blonde and lightening it I have been using this shampoo twice a week. I have been noticing such a difference and I have had so many people telling me how much lighter my hair is looking, all thanks to this wonderful product. I picked this up from the pound shop for only £1 and for such a small price I can’t fault it, as it has truly worked it’s magic on my hair!
I wore fake tan throughout May, so I used this exfoliating scrub so much, before tanning to get rid of any dead skin and to remove the tan after a few days. I love this scrub, as it’s super gentle so doesn’t irritate my skin, once worked in really removes the dead skin leaving my skin feeling so soft and also smells great. This has certainly been my skins saviour through out May.
So there you have it my May Favourites! What have been your favourites this month?
