This year is flying over already and with February being the shortest month of the year, it felt like if you blinked you would have missed it. Despite all this horrible weather this month, I enjoyed February and experienced lots of exciting things and I can’t wait for Spring and Summer now.
As you may have seen in My Current Everyday Makeup post, I have been wearing this foundation every single day lately and I have grown a love/hate relationship with it. It gives such a nice finish to the skin, provides a medium coverage, lasts pretty well and is a great match for my skin. It does come away in certain areas however, especially my T-Zone, but I have oily skin so it is expected. I am still unsure how I feel about the applicator, it makes applying my makeup easier, yet for hygienic reasons it grosses me out a little.
The Maybelline Falsies Mascara is another new mascara I have fallen in love with lately. It honestly makes such a difference to my lashes, adding so much volume and length, creating that fluttery false lash effect. It really makes me eyes pop, especially due to how black the mascara is and how much volume it adds. I have really been loving this.
As you will probably know if you have read my blog for a while the Urban Decay setting sprays are my ultimate faves, however just before Christmas I ran out of my last bottle and so I bought this as an alternative. By no means does it beat Urban Decay in terms of lasting power, but this is such a nice setting spray. It feels really refreshing, sets my makeup well and lasts a reasonable amount of time on my skin i holding my makeup in place for the day. However, you do have to remember to shake this product or you will end up with white residue all over your face, which happened to me the first time I used it which was not pretty and a killer to remove.
I received this roller ball of the Lacoste L 12.12 Pour Elle Magnetic perfume and as soon as I smelt it I felt in love. It has been my key fragrance lately, especially in February and I love how great it is to pop in your handbag to take on the go. It’s such a feminine and sultry scent, that is claimed as both fruity and floral. I love this and I need to get my hands on the full size bottle as I can see it being one of my favourite scents.
This serum has been my skincare saviour recently, especially during the cold weather. It is so moisturising, and makes my skin looking so much plumper and brighter. It literally glows every time I use this and feels so so soft. It is a little pricey, however it’s totally worth it and I don’t mind paying money for products I know are going to work.
Another scent that I have loved in February is this Victoria Secret body spray in Temptation. I have kept this in my handbag every day through out February and it’s been great to use after a dance class or on the go. It smells so so nice and I have received many compliments when ever I spray this.
So there you have it my February favourites, what products you been loving recently?
Thanks for reading!
