My Current Everyday Makeup

I haven’t done this kind of post since I first started my blog, so it’s very interesting to see how my makeup has changed from 2 years ago to now. So, I thought I would share the current products I have non stop used lately to do my makeup on a morning.

L’Oreal Infallible Primer

First I prime my face using the L’Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer. I love this primer, as it as a great base for my foundation and controls my oily t-zone, to stop me from looking shiny throughout the day. It is a gel consistency which can feel very weird the first time you use this, but you soon get used to it.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation

Next I use the Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable foundation. I have a love/hate relationship with this foundation, some days I am like this foundation is great and other days I am like meh it looks okay. It provides a medium coverage so covers a lot of my imperfections, however doesn’t completely mask them all and make them look non existent. As for longevity, this foundation lasts pretty well, however it tends to fade around my nose and certain areas by the end of the day. It’s a perfect match for my skin so doesn’t drown me out, yet also doesn’t make me look like an orange. Overall, I like to wear this for a day to day foundation and I have been using it non stop recently.

Freedom Brow Pomade

I then fill in my brows using the Freedom Brow Pomade. I love this product, it’s seen to be the perfect dupe for the ABH pomade but I haven’t tried this so I can’t compare. It’s such a creamy formula which applies so easily and makes my brows look more shaped and defined. I can’t complain about this, as for £5 it’s great and works really well, it’s certainly my favourite brow product I have tried.

Urban Decay Troublemaker

I use the Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara to coat my lashes. OH MY, this product is a real game changer for me and I just love how it makes my lashes look. It adds volume, length and makes my eyes really pop. This has become one of my favourite mascaras and I have been wearing it religiously lately.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and Seventeen Skin Wow Concealer

I then concealer my under eye area using the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. This is one of my holy grail concealers, as it’s so brightening underneath the eyes which hides my dark panda eyes and lasts all day without needing to be topped up. I couldn’t be without this and it has been my go to recently. I then use the Seventeen Skin Wow Concealer, to conceal all other areas and hide any of my imperfections. This is a recent addition to my collection and I have been liking it so far. It’s nothing impressive, and it seems to conceal around my nose, down the centre of my face and any blemishes pretty well.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder- Medium

I then go in with my trustee MAC powder, to powder my t-zone. This powder is so great, it keeps any oiliness at bay to stop me from looking shiny, sets my concealer and adds a little bit of warmth to my skin. I have been using this so much in the past year and I have just recently hit pan.

Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette

I then contour and bronze my face using the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting palette. I apply this around my forehead and cheekbones to add definition and warmth. It’s so pigmented, so you only need a little amount to really work into the skin and it makes my face look so much more defined. This has become a recent favourite and I have been using it ever single day.

MAC Soft & Gentle

Finally I highlight my cheeks, down the centre of my nose, cupids bow and brow bone using MAC’S Soft and Gentle. I love this highlighter and it is one of my favourites. It provides such an intense glow as it’s so pigmented and lasts so well. I then spritz my whole face to set my makeup using the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray.
