Superdrug Haul

I recently went into my local Superdrug in order to purchase my trusty Rimmel Lasting Perfection Foundation, yet as they had their usual 3 for 2 offer on I just had to purchase some more makeup bits. I went for the Freedom Brow Pomade in the shade Chocolate and the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Moca. I thought I would share with you my first impressions.

Rimmel Lasting Perfection Foundation

This foundation is my go to drugstore foundation, I truly love it. It’s definitely medium- full coverage and doesn’t apply patchy onto the skin. It gives a dewy finish, which with a little powder helps control any oiliness. I don’t think I will ever stop reaching for this foundation.

Freedom Brow Pomade

I was in the search for a new brow product, and after hearing so many great things about this brow pomade I had to go for this. I went for the shade Chocolate, which I was dreading when I first opened it as I thought it would be slightly too dark, however it’s just the right shade. I am loving how it looks on my eyebrows so far, it truly defines them.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick

Everyone has been raving about these liquid lipsticks ever since they were released, so I had to get my hands on one. After much deliberation I went for the shade Moca, as it’s different to any other lip shades that I currently own. So far, I have worn this twice and I have to say I am impressed. It doesn’t feel sticky on the lips and applies so creamy. Hopefully this lipstick will become a new favourite in my collection.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I’m always on the look out for a new foundation! I currently have YSL touché eclat, though I bought the shade in DUTY free when I had a bit of a tan so it’s not ideal for winter when I look like a ghost. I love it for summer and will be using it again next year, but this winter I want a paler one!

      1. It’s so good, really long lasting and the coverage is medium, but buildable without looking caked on. I love how it feels on the skin, really moisturising but doesn’t make your skin oily. You can read a review on my blog! X
