Urban Decay Naked Heat First Impressions & Swatches

img_0814The hottest palette right now! The release of the NAKED Heat had everyone drooling and lusting over it’s beautiful packaging and colour range, including me. I very luckily received it from my parents for my 18th, which I was very grateful and happy about, as you can imagine. I instantly knew I would love this palette as soon as I opened the lid. So, here is the lowdown and swatches of their newest release.

It contains 12 beautiful shades from matte to shimmers, and of course a double ended brush and compact mirror. The shades are autumnal and summer inspired with burnt oranges, pinks and reds. My favourites so far have to be Scorched and Ember. I love how the packaging fits with the theme of the eyeshadows perfectly, in it’s orange/bronze compact. It totally gives off summer vibes!

The pigmentation of the shades all differ with the shimmery shades such as Dirty Talk, Ember and Scorched being really pigmented, to the lighter matte shades such as Ounce and Chaser being very transparent, so took a lot of product to show up. I have to say the pigmentation has seriously improved from their latest eye shadow palettes and I can’t wait to see how they compare alongside each other on the eyes.

Top to Bottom- Ounce, Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow, Lumbre, He Devil, Dirty Talk, Scorched, Cayenne, En Fuego, Ashes and Ember

I am excited to start to experiment properly and try out so many different and exciting eye looks. I will for sure be taking it to Dublin with me next weekend!

Did you manage to grab the NAKED Heat, If so what are your thoughts?

Thanks for reading!
