Is this not the prettiest palette you ever did see? Too Faced have a range of eyeshadow palettes that are good enough to eat and when I saw that they had 25% off on their website I just had to purchase one. After much deliberation I finally decided on the Matte Chocolate Chip Palette which is originally £22, yet I managed to get for £16.50. That’s a grand total of £1.50 per shadow, so is amazingly priced.
Can we just talk about the packaging? An eyeshadow palette that looks just like a chocolate bar and smells just like mini eggs, *drools* how can you go wrong? The palette is definitely much smaller than I thought it would be, as it sits perfectly in the palm of my hand but this didn’t put me off. It makes it great to pop into your handbag for on the go or to take away with you, for this reason.
This palette contains an array of shades from darker browns and reds, to light browns and pinks all in a matte formula. Some shades are perfect for the crease, some for the lid and some to highlight the brow bone or inner corner, creating a range of eye looks. I love the names of each of the eyeshadows as they link to the chocolate theme for example, White Chocolate and Triple Fudge. All the eyeshadows have a creamy and buttery formula which apply onto the lid effortlessly and blend out with no fuss. I can’t wait to experiment with these eyeshadows more.
I love the fact this palette has a handy mirror inside, which is big enough to use. This makes it easier if you take this palette with you on the go with you, as you can use the mirror whenever you need to. It also means you don’t have to use a separate mirror to apply your eyeshadow, which is an added bonus.
Overall, I am excited to use this eyeshadow palette more as I can’t wait to see if it lives up to my other eyeshadow palettes in terms of formula. I am impressed with Too Faced on the packaging of this product, as you can clearly tell it has been thought out from the chocolate bar theme, to the handy mirror inside, I love it!
