I am totally obsessed with liquid lipsticks and I have tried so many from both high street and high end brands, so it was extremely difficult to just whittle it down to 3 which I love the most. I finally came to a conclusion after much deliberation and chose Red Velvet from the Lime Crime Velvetines range, Oh Lady from the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip colour collection and Copenhagen from the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream range.
Red Velvet- Lime Crime
I won’t go into too much detail for this lipstick as I have a post fully dedicated to this beauty, (which I will link below) however this liquid lipstick truly is long lasting. It’s such a gorgeous shade, doesn’t crumble or wear away easily, truly mattifys straight away and doesn’t feel drying on the lips. I love this lipstick and I shall totally be trying more from the Lime Crime range!

Oh, Lady-MAC
Coincidentally as I am writing this post I am actually wearing this stunning lip shade. It’s certainly one that receives a lot of complements due to its vibrant colour. I would describe this as a deep plum/wine shade and paired with my pale complexion really stands out adding something extra to a more natural makeup look. It’s very long lasting and doesn’t wear away when i’m continuously eating and drinking throughout the day, which saves me having to top it up when I am always on the go. It’s quite drying due to it’s matte formula but not so much so that you can tell or it feels as though your lips are sore. My favourite thing is the applicator of the product as the shape is great for different areas of the lips, making it super easy to apply. I really love this lipstick and it’s perfect for when i’m feeling more daring!
Copenhagen- NYX
I also have a separate post on this amazing liquid lipstick so I will also leave a link below so you can check it out. Yet it is certainly one of my favourite drugstore liquid lipsticks. It has such a creamy formula that applys so nice on to the lips before turning matte into such a bright purple colour. In terms of colour it is very similar to Oh,Lady, however it’s more on the darker side and has a hint of deep red. It dries matte almost straight away but isn’t too drying in which it makes your lip lines stand out or so you can feel it. It last well throughout the day and is an all around great product. For £5.50 you just can’t go wrong!
