My Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes

So I have decided to do a series on my blog in which I will be posting my top 3 beauty items of all time. The first in this series is of course eyeshadow palettes. I rarely every talk about eyeshadow palettes on my blog, which is probably due to the fact I don’t really tend to wear eyeshadow on a day to day basis, but more on a weekend or for special occasions. I can never be bothered with the chew of doing my eye makeup every single day for college so I tend to usually not bother. However, I do have many eyeshadow palettes in which I love or tend to reach for the most. These are: the Maybelline The Nudes Palette, Ted Baker mini eyeshadow palettes and the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette.

Maybelline The Nudes Palette

This is in fact one of the very first eyeshadow palettes I owned, in which I received for my birthday a couple of years ago. I love a good brown/nude smoky eye, and this palette is perfect in creating this look. The colours are so gorgeous and pigmented for the price, with it only retailing for £9.99 which is a bargain for 12 shades. The palette is super cute, and great for you to pop into your handbag or travel bag for on the go. It has a real good mix of matte and shimmery shades so you can create various different looks depending on how you feel, which I love. If you aren’t willing to pay the prices of more high-end palettes or are just getting into makeup then this palette is ideal for you.

Ted Baker Mini Eyeshadow Palettes

I have recently been loving my mini Ted Baker eyeshadow palettes since I got a gift set that came with another to add to my collection for Christmas. I have quite a few now, that create different looks and shades. Some are more orangey and brown toned while others are more dark blues and greys. These palettes are great in creating many eye looks and come with 3 eyeshadows that all work perfectly together. My current favourite at the moment is the eyeshadow palette I featured in my Spring Beauty Essentials post, as contains the most gorgeous orange shades. Unfortunately, I only think you can get these palettes in gift sets which is a shame, as I would certainly repurchase them again.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

I had been eyeing up this palette for ages, so for Christmas my parents bought me it. I fell in love with it instantly as all the shades are absolutely stunning. This palette has a mix of shimmer and matte shades, which both work so well together to create so many pretty eye looks. My favourites have to be Armor which is a pretty sparkly silver and High which is a sparkly pink. I have found these eyeshadows to be so pigmented and as soon as you swipe the smallest amount onto the brush and apply it onto the eyes, it stands out so much. I totally love this palette!

What are your favourite eyeshadow palettes?

Thanks for reading!
