As it was Valentine’s Day yesterday, me and Ben went out for a meal to celebrate our first one as a couple. So, I decided to go for a bright pink eye makeup look, as the colours are perfect for Valentine’s Day.
For my eyes I primed my lids using the Urban Decay Primer potion to create a base for my eyeshadow. I then used the deep pink/red shade from my MAC palette, and blended it all over my lid and into the crease. Next I used the shade Grifter from my Urban Decay palette which is a glittery pink and placed that all over the lid to add some glitter. Finally I placed the colour UZI from the same palette, which is a silver glitter into the inner corner of my eyes to brighten and add glitter to them. For mascara I used my MAC Upper Lash mascara, I absolutely love this mascara as it so volumising and lengthening on my lashes.
For foundation I used my trustee MAC Studio Fix foundation as I wanted something full coverage and I knew that would last the night, as well as make my skin look flawless. I then concealed using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Chantilly to brighten underneath my eyes, down the centre of my nose and my chin and the Collection Lasting Perfection in the shade Fairto cover any spots and blemishes. To hold this into place I powdered using the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium. I then went onto bronze/contour using the Maybelline Master Sculpt around the forehead and in the hollows of my cheeks. For my brows I used the wax from the Benefit Brow Zing palette and shaped and defined them using an angled brush and then concealed them using Collection Lasting Perfection concealer to further define them. Finally I highlighted my cheeks, cupids and down the centre of my nose using the pink highlighter shade Champagne Shimmer from the Beautifully Define Palette and added MAC Velvet Teddy to my lips.
