I have been trying out 2 of the L’Oréal Clay Masks for the past few weeks, so I thought I would do a review on how I have been getting on with them. I purchased both the Purity mask and the Detox mask.
L’oreal Clay Mask- Detox
The detox mask is my favourite out of the 2 masks and the one in which I have been reaching for the most. It’s claimed to draw out any impurities and detoxify the skin. This mask instantly makes your skin feel so smooth and clean after using it, which is one thing I love about it. Although, I did find the first time I used this mask it caused my skin to break out it, it has managed to control any breakouts ever since. It also doesn’t cause my skin to dry out at all leaving my skin to look clarified afterwards. To use this mask I apply it twice a week all over my face and leave it on for around 5 minutes or until it goes tight, then remove it using a small face sponge. I found this works best for me.
L’oreal Clay Mask-Purity
This mask is claimed to purify your skin by working into the pores to keep your skin looking purified and matte. It contains Eucalyptus extracts, with 3 pure clays-Koalin, Montmorillonite, Ghassoul. I haven’t reached for this mask as much as I have the detox mask, however I have still loved how it has worked on my face just as much as the detox mask. It has left my skin feeling fresh and cleaner, drawing out all the gunk and dirt in my skin which is really needed sometimes.
These masks are so creamy which makes it super easy to apply and I use an old makeup brush to do so. Despite it being creamy it instantly goes rock hard as it works wonders on your skin. I have really sensitive skin and these masks didn’t react or irritate my skin which is an added bonus.
Have you tried out these masks, if so what were your thoughts?
Thanks for reading!
