Highlights of the Month:May

May has been a pretty quiet yet stressful month due to exams, however I have still had the chance to de-stress and hang out with my friends and boyfriend whenever I have had the chance. Here is what I got up to this month! img_1610img_1569img_1561On the 2nd of May I went to Pizza Hut with some of my friends from college. Me and my friend Holly decided to share a pizza, however due to preferring completely different pizza toppings we went half and half. I went for the Texan BBQ and Holly went for the Veggie Supreme. It was so good!!image-6image-7img_1751img_1755img_1758

img_1761img_1762img_1769img_1827On the 6th of May I went to Ask Italian in Durham for Britty and Chloe’s Birthday. I went for a Stromboli (Pepperoni) pizza for my main, which was amazing and for dessert me and Laura decided to share a Chocolate Lava Mountain, it tasted so nice however was very sickly!

For my starter I had potato skins (which are definitely the best potato skins ever!!) and for my main course I had a Chicken Kiev pizza! It was so good!! Due to it being Emily’s birthday the waiters made her a birthday cake and she had to stand on a chair and dance while we all sung happy birthday to her!

img_2319img_2321img_2325img_2328img_2335img_2343On the 14th of May, I went for a walk with my boyfriend Ben due to it being one of the hottest days in the North East (this is hard to believe in England). We ended up going to the quarry behind where I live and it was so nice to spend some time exploring together!

img_2942img_2944img_2947img_2954img_2965On the 21st May, I went to South Shields beach with Ben as the weather was lush! Even though we managed to get lost on the way there due to Ben’s terrible sense of direction, we got there in the end. We walked along the beach and explored the rock pools!

On the 31st of May, my grandma and grandad took me and my 2 sisters too the cinema to go and see Alice Through the Looking Glass! I knew the film was going to be good from watching the trailer but it was definitely better than I expected it and I really enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend going to see it.

Thanks for reading!
