My Top 3 Go To Nail Varnishes

When it comes to nail varnish I tend to go more towards darker colours; dark purples and deep reds. I’m not hugely fussed on the brand of nail varnish, but I am more fussed on the colour and quality, as I want to wear a nail varnish that I know will last. My favourite ones that I always seem to reach for are: the Maybelline Color Show 60 seconds nail varnish in the shade 357 Burgundy Kiss, the Rimmel London 60 seconds super shine nail varnish in the shade 340 in Berries and Cream and the Rimmel London 60 seconds super shine in the shade 345 Black Cherries.

The Maybelline Color Show 60 seconds nail varnish in the shade 357 Burgundy Kiss, is the perfect burgundy/dark colour. I love this colour and its definitely my favourite out of the 3. I really feel like it complements my fingers and skin tone, especially due to being so pale. Its a perfect colour for in the winter time and seems to go with almost anything. It is also good quality and lasts a few days without chipping. However, it can be a nightmare when taking this nail varnish off as it tends to stain your nails and fingers a little bit. Yet, on the whole I would definitely recommend this nail varnish.

The Rimmel London 60 seconds super shine nail varnish in the shade 340 in Berries and Cream, is the prettiest red colour. I love how elegant it looks on the nails, however you will need to do 2 coats to get it looking the right colour. It’s also good quality and tends to last a few days without chipping, which I love. Its super shiny and you can really tell as soon as you apply this colour to the nails. The brush is a good size, making it easier to apply onto the nails. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Rimmel London 60 seconds super shine in the shade 345 Black Cherries, is such a beautiful purple. It looks amazing on the nails and is perfect for parties in adding a bit of shimmer and sparkle to your look. The quality of the nail varnish is good, as it lasts on the nails and doesn’t chip easily and applies easily onto the nails without any hassle. It tends to dry quickly, so you don’t end up smudging your nails straight after you have painted them. Overall, I believe its a great nail varnish and I would definitely recommend this product.

Which one is your favourite?
